Today we had a wonderful celebration of Chinese New Year. The children looked so bright and colourful in their red, gold and fancy dress costumes. Lots of Chinese food was sampled by the children (and the staff!) and it was a lovely end to the half term.

I am delighted to inform you that Mrs Dalton gave birth to a beautiful baby girl during the half term holiday.
Baby Charlotte Angela was 8lbs 5.5 ounces and is absolutely gorgeous.
Mrs Dalton has promised to bring her in soon to meet all the children.

Thank you to Y5 for leading our Harvest Celebration this morning. It really made us all think about the importance of sharing the resources we have with others who are not so lucky. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our delightful class of Y1 children this week.
We did a series of literacy lessons based on the story, "Kipper's Toy Box."
The children made predictions about the story, made little books of toys to read to younger children and even wrote their own magic toy box riddles!
